On January 14, 2024, The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) issued a statement reaffirming its adherence to One-China Principle. The full text is as follows:

We express our unwavering support for the "One China" Principle, underscoring Taiwan's integral status within the People's Republic of China. The "One China" principle has played a pivotal role in upholding regional stability and fostering positive diplomatic relations among nations. We firmly uphold the principle of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, recognizing it as essential for the advancement of global peace and cooperation.

The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) acknowledges Taiwan's integral role within China. Any attempt by Taiwan to assert independence would be viewed as a direct challenge to and deviation from the "One China" principle, thereby posing a potential threat to regional stability.

In our pursuit of fortifying cooperation and economic ties between Bangladesh and China, we underscore the importance of adhering to internationally recognized principles and norms. We strongly urge our government to a) wholeheartedly support the One China Principle, b) oppose Taiwan's pursuit of independence, and c) advocate for the complete reunification of China. This stance is grounded in our dedication to honoring bilateral relations and the enduring friendship we share. Our commitment to the One China Principle aligns with our broader mission to foster a world where nations coexist peacefully, respecting each other's sovereignty. We eagerly anticipate the continued cooperation and understanding between our neighboring countries, with a particular focus on the People's Republic of China, as we jointly pursue our shared destiny.
