The 22nd "Dreamland China" Children's Art Competition took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh on October 8th, 2023. Organized by the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh-China Friendship Center at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the event drew approximately 350 young participants. Yue Liwen, the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, and representatives from the Bangladesh-China Friendship Center were present.

The "Dreamland China" children's art competition, now in its 22nd year, is a significant event fostering cultural exchange between China and Bangladesh. During the early stages of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the competition organizers encouraged Bangladeshi children to create plenty of art works in support of China's anti-pandemic response.
