H. E. Mr. Zahid Maleque, Honourable Minister of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare wrote a letter to Professor Zhang Wenhong, head of the center of infectious diseases, Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, China to extend sincere thanks and gratitude for the support to Bangladeshi health professionals that Professor Zhang extended through the video conference in addressing the menace created by COVID-19.

Mr. Zahid Maleque said it was really a productive and valuable session and he believes that Bangladeshi health professionals are immensely benefitted from deliberations and sharing of expertise on this issue. He also hopes that the exchange of knowledge and experience will continue in the coming days and we together will fight against the challenges of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
