Premier Li Keqiang Sends Message of Condolences to Bangladeshi Counterpart

On April 26, 2013, Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolences to his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina regarding the building collapse incident in its capital Dhaka.

In the message of condolences, Li expressed his deep sadness on hearing the shocking news of high death toll and severe property losses in the incident of building collapse. On behalf of the Chinese government and its people and in his own name, Li expressed deep grief to the victims and sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the wounded. Li believed that the Bangladeshi people would overcome the difficulties and pull it through under the leadership of their Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
