On August 26, Chinese Ambassador H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian on behalf of Chinese government, Additional Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Aftab Hassan representing Bangladesh government signed the Acceptance Certificate of Relief Goods provided by Chinese government.

　　Mr. Aftab expressed gratitude to Chinese government for the selfless assistance. He said China will offer its help whenever Bangladesh encounters difficulties. China is Bangladesh’s reliable friend. He congratulated on the success of Beijing Olympic Games.

　　 Ambassador Zheng said China and Bangladesh enjoy a profound friendship. The relief goods expressed the brotherly relationship between the two governments and the two peoples. He hoped that the relief would help Bangladesh disaster-affected people overcome the difficulties and rebuild their homeland.

　　Provided by Chinese government for Bangladesh flood victims, the relief goods include 300 ton of rice, 10 ton of wheat, 150 ton of soybean and 120 ton of seeds with a total value of RMB 10 million.
