On December 24th 2007, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian had an interview with Ms. Afsana Begum, the correspondent from The Executive Times in the Embassy. Ambassador Zheng briefed on issues including political relationship, trade cooperation, exchange in culture and education between the two countries. He said China and Bangladesh enjoy a profound friendship dating back to the ancient times. The bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, military and culture is getting increasingly close. China would like to promote Sino-Bangladesh comprehensive cooperation partnership with joint efforts from Bangladeshi side.
