On December 1st, 2007, the lady diplomats of Chinese Embassy attended "Annual International Meenabazar" organized by Bangladesh Women's Voluntary Association (WVA) at Gulshan Children's Park field.

                    

    Under the lead of wife of Chinese Ambassador, Madam Xu Min, the early-arriving staff members decorated the sale stand with traditional Chinese red lanterns and Chinese knots. The unique decorations, the rich variety of Chinese commodities and the tasty Chinese cuisine soon made the sale stand of Chinese Embassy the focus of the field. With smiling faces and loving hearts, the working staff provided high quality service for the pouring-in local and international friends. The whole activity lasted 8 hours.

           

    High Commissions of India, Pakistan, Malaysia and Brunei also joined the program and the fund raised will all go for Bangladesh women and children charitable projects run by Bangladesh WVA.
