On Oct 27, Chinese Ambassador H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian attended the closing ceremony of 1st Bangladesh National WUSHU Tournament in National Indoor Stadium and delivered a speech.

                              

    H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian congratulated on the success of the tournament and expressed his gratitude to Bangladesh Olympic Committee, Bangladesh State Sports Committee,Bengali WUSHU players and coaches for their continuous support to WUSHU,which has undergone impressive development in the past 30 years under joint efforts from all parties concerned. In this regard, Bangladesh WUSHU Association has made its due contributions to make WUSHU more popular in Bangladesh and in Asia at large by holding WUSHU matches every year despite financial difficulties. Ambassador Zheng welcomes Bangladesh WUSHU players to join in Olympic games to be held in Beijing next year and wishes them good luck in the coming contest.

                     

                    

    Over 140 WUSHU players from 22 districts participated in this sports gala, which serves as a warm-up for the 3rd South Asia WUSHU Tournament to be held in December in Bangladesh. Bangladesh mainstream media including BTV covered the tournament.
