On July 4, Chinese Ambassador H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian paid a courtesy call on Adviser of Law and Information of Caretaker Government, H. E. Barrister Mainul Hosein.

                    

    Ambassador Zheng expressed that China and Bangladesh enjoy a profound friendship, the bilateral relationship is becoming increasingly mature. The Chinese side would like to strengthen communication and understanding with the Bangladeshi side with a view to deepen cooperation and realize common prosperity.

    Barrister Mainul welcomed Ambassador Zheng for his new appointment to Bangladesh. He spoke highly of the exchange and cooperation in various fields since the establishment of diplomatic ties 32 years ago, and appreciated the selfless help from the Chinese side for Bangladeshi economic and social development. Barrister Mainul hoped that exchanges between the two peoples can be further extended, and the friendship between the two countries can be passed on from generation to generation.
